This project is about creating a landing page for a collection, which the team wanted to launch in the market. The collection consisted of a new range of bags which focus on canvas designs. I collaborated with a design agency based in Mumbai for the project over one fine weekend. My highlights of the project were to start with ideation, create wireframes, get sign off and design the best wireframe to high fidelity.
While I was working on another project, I received a call from the agency that they're looking for a person who can help them design a landing page for Irth. I asked them to set up a brief call, understood every requirement from the client, and went straight to their current website.
This was the first time I was working very closely for such a well known brand, Titan. Their website, already well-established and featuring numerous bag collections, impressed me with its emphasis on simplicity and cohesive design language.
Once I got the understanding of their design language and pattern, I'd set up a meeting with the stakeholder to understand their requirements and needs. We agreed to include:
I started by creating multiple wireframes to include what we agreed on.
Then again I met with the stakeholder to finalise one wireframe, and take things ahead with the content for the page. The stakeholder loved my approach, which brought clarity to the vision. We agreed to implement wireframe 2 in action, and the relevant content was shared with me for further use.
Upon receiving those, I tweaked the elements to ensure it aligns with Irth's current design language.
I strongly advocate for open communication with stakeholders as it helps in understanding the rational behind design decisions, collaboration and buy-in. Creating alternatives helps me with clarity in the visual approach for the project.
they suggested some more changes in terms of changing the order of the elements on the page, to put more emphasis on the products straight away. After carefully considering their feedback, I implemented the suggested changes, to which everyone happily agreed.
I explained the flow of the website to the agency's developer, ensuring they understood how each element behaves upon interaction. And finally this is how it came into action.
